The Association of Pulmonologist Tamilnadu welcomes eligible professionals and students to become part of the association and participate in its professional and academic activities.

To apply, download the membership application form, complete it with the required information and supporting documents, and send the completed application along with the payment receipt to apt.chest@gmail.com.

Eligibility Criteria

Life member: DM / MD / DNB / DTCD (Pulmonary / Respiratory Medicine)
Ordinary member: Any member of our speciality for annual Membership
Associate member: Other speciality members
Student member: Valid only for the student period

New Membership Fee

Life Membership

Rs. 10000/-

Ordinary Membership

Rs. 1000/- per annum

Associate Membership

Rs. 500/- per annum

Student Membership

Rs. 1000/-

Only for the student period.

Required Information & Documents

Please provide the following supporting documents according to the membership category.

Life Membership

Degree certificate.
Degree registration with Tamilnadu Medical Council.
Attach a Xerox / scanned copy as applicable.

Student Membership

College joining report.
Copy of the Student ID.
Student membership is valid only during the student period.

Payment Details

Payment can be made by DD / Cheque or through NEFT / bank transfer.

DD / Cheque

The DD / Cheque should be made out in favour of Association of Pulmonologist Tamilnadu, payable at Chennai.

Please retain the payment receipt and send it along with the completed membership application.

Eligibility & Terms

Membership applications are subject to the association's rules and regulations. The official application form states that applicants agree to abide by the present rules and regulations of the Association of Pulmonologist Tamilnadu.

Life Member DM / MD / DNB / DTCD (Pulmonary / Respiratory Medicine) can be eligible for Life Membership.

Associate Member Associate membership is specified for other speciality members.

Student Member Student membership is valid only during the student period with the required college ID proof.
